Problem, solved

Here’s the solution to the problem of two posts ago: Which number follows in the series 10, 9, 60, 90, 70, 66? First, let’s analyze the numbers we have:

Looking at them this way, you can see that TEN is the maximum number for which three characters are used. NINE is the maximum number with four characters, SIXTY the maximum with five characters, NINETY the maximum with six characters, SEVENTY the maximum with seven characters, and SIXTY SIX the maximum with eight characters… Therefore… what’s the largest number of exactly nine characters? 96 (ninety-six).

Interestingly, once again, with the proper visualization, the solution is immediate.

(Which means… power to you!)

Filed under: Corporate Visibility, IT, IT Visibility, Monitoring, Ramblings, Visibility <a rel="nofollow" href=" alt="" border="0" src=" /> <img alt="" border="0" src=";blog=24135054... width="1" height="1" />
